What is the current situation in the UK, Ireland, Spain, and Malta?
In the face of COVID-19, all nations are making significant decisions to swiftly combat the virus. The UK, Ireland, Spain, and Malta are no exceptions. The tourism sector in each of these countries has been significantly affected by the virus, leading to the closure of hotels and restaurants. Reopening details are gradually emerging, with some establishments aiming for early June, while others are targeting early July.
Can I still register?
Yes, registration is still open. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and we hope to place numerous candidates during the summer.
Can I travel abroad with Roast Jobs at present?
Please check the restrictions in your home country and your destination and feel free to contact us for further information. The situation is evolving rapidly, and new restrictions may be imposed without notice.
Departures are postponed, not canceled. We are committed to placing everyone once the current situation stabilizes.
Can I still go abroad this summer ?
Applications for candidates registered for the summer or those in the registration process are being processed as usual.
Currently, there are no cancellations planned. Nevertheless, we remain adaptable and will conform to the decisions made by each country.
What are my rights if I am laid off, on partial unemployment, or on unpaid leave?

Am I entitled to a replacement considering the situation?
Yes, in light of the situation, we aim to be as flexible as possible. Consequently, we have decided to waive the €90 fee for application changes or replacements.
Should you choose to return to France, we can arrange placement in the same establishment or elsewhere based on availability once the crisis subsides.
What should I do if I find myself abroad without employment?
Contact us urgently.
- If you wish to return to France, contact the French Embassy to learn about the arrangements in place for repatriating French expatriates (as announced by the President of the Republic).
- If you prefer to wait and understand the social assistance available, consult your employer, who is responsible for handling the procedures.
